Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athletes Christopher Kokkoris and Holden Wouters have signed WHL Scholarship and Development Agreements with the Edmonton Oil Kings.
A defenseman from Langley, BC, Kokkoris joined Yale Hockey Academy for the 2023/24 U15 season tallying 33 points in 27 games while being named a BC Division First Team All-Star. This past season he would produce 4 goals and 33 assists in 34 U15 Prep games with Yale, earning BC Division Second Team All-Star honours. The Oil Kings selected Kokkoris eighth overall at the 2025 WHL Draft.
Wouters was the second overall pick at the 2025 WHL Draft by the Edmonton Oil Kings. The Vancouver, BC defenseman joined St. George’s School in 2023/24, spending the past two CSSHL seasons with their U15 Prep team. He would record 5 points in 27 games last season before having 41 in 29 this year as he was named a CSSHL BC Division First Team All-Star and Top Defenseman Award finalist.
